Investigating the emancipatory potential of distributed forms of (everyday) assembly as a form of horizontal spatial politics, this collaborative initiative of COA (Cultures of Assemblies) at UniLu and Harvard GSD will be the first publishing project conceived by the Chair of the City of Esch to be launched in the Summer of 2023, published by Sternberg Press and Library Stack (digital). This research project – which was originally kicked off as part of a Harvard GSD fellowship in collaboration with Joseph Grima – now culminates in an interrogation of the contemporary landscape of both everyday (spatial) support structures as well as addresses questions of governance, community building, and spatial justice.
