Ena Kukic

In April 2026, Ena Kukic joined MARCH team as a postdoctoral researcher after finishing her PhD at the Institute of Design and Building Typology in Graz last year.

Ena Kukic is an architect and postdoctoral research associate at the Master in Architecture programme, University of Luxembourg. After studying architecture in Sarajevo, Barcelona, and Graz, she completed her PhD in 2025 at the Institute for Design and Building Typologies at TU Graz. Her doctoral research examined spatial frameworks of collective memory through the identification and reinterpretation of underrecognized architectural typologies.

She is co-founder of the design studio E+D and the architectural collective circa. Her practice, centred on the revitalisation of industrial heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been awarded the national Collegium Artisticum Award twice. From 2020 to 2026, she taught design studios and model-making at TU Graz. Ena has presented her work at institutions including Princeton University, ETH Zurich, ETSAB Barcelona, Syracuse University, TU Vienna, and UC Chile, among others. Her lectures and exhibitions within the LINA Fellowship focused on how architectural forms mediate collectivity, a question that continues to shape her current research and practice.
